Abstract:Objective To investigate the application effect of psychological nursing intervention in maintenance hemodialysis(MHD)patients. Methods A total of 248 patients with chronic renal failure (CRF)who received MHD treatment in our hospital from June 2015 and January 2017 were randomly divided into intervention group and control group,124 cases in each group. The self-rating anxiety scale (SAS)and the self-rating depression scale (SDS)were used to assess the patient′s psychological state before first MHD after being admitted to hospital and being discharged. The treatment compliance was observed. Results Before intervention, there was no significant difference in SAS or SDS score between the two groups(P>0.05).After the intervention, both SAS and SDS scores significantly decreased, and the SAS and SDS scores in the intervention group were significantly lower than those in the control group, with statistical significance(P<0.01).The treatment compliance of the intervention group was better than that of the control group(P<0.01).Conclusion The implementation of psychological nursing intervention in MHD patients can improve their emotional and health status,as well as patient′s treatment compliance.
