Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of decompression of large bone flap and roofing of temporal muscle treating large area cerebral infarction. Methods A total of 70 cases with large area cerebral infarction treated in our hospital from March 2011 to March 2017 were selected as the research subjects, and they were randomly divided into the conservative group(35 cases)and the operation group(35 cases). The conservative group was treated with conventional medical treatment, while the operation group was treated with arge bone flap and roofing of temporal muscle therapy. The volume change of cerebral infarction focus, the total incidence of complications, mortality and long-term efficacy were compared between the two groups. Results The volume of cerebral infarction focus in the operation group after 1,2 and 4 weeks treatment was smaller than that of the conservative group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of complication and mortality rate in the operation group were lower than those in the conservative group(P<0.05).After half a year of follow-up,the good rate of functional recovery in the operation group was higher than that of the conservative group, and the bad rate of functional recovery was lower than that of the conservative group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Clinical effect of large bone flap and roofing of temporal muscle treating large area cerebral infarction is better than conventional medical treatment.
