Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of evidence-based nursing for patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy and to provide basis for clinical nursing of patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy. Methods Sixty-six patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy admitted to our hospital from December 2016 to December 2017 were selected as research objects, and were divided into control group and experimental group with 33 cases in each group by random number table method. The control group was given routine nursing while the experimental group was given evidence-based nursing. The study compared the two groups of patients′nursing efficiency, satisfaction score, psychological status score and the incidence of adverse reactions. Results The total effective rate of nursing in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).The scores of patients′satisfaction in the experimental group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).The psychological status scores of the two groups after the intervention were significantly lower than those before the intervention, and the psychological status scores of the experimental group were significantly lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).During the intervention, there was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion The results of evidence-based nursing for patients with cervical spondylotic radiculopathy are better and safer. It is worth promoting and practicing in all medical institutions.
