Abstract:Objective To investigate the efficacy of Diazepam,Phenobarbital and Midazolam in the treatment of convulsions in children. Methods A total of 90 children with pediatric convulsions treated in our hospital from November 2015 to November 2017 were selected as subjects. The children were divided into Phenobarbital group,Diazepam group and Midazolam group according to the difference in the order of treatment,30 cases in each group. The Phenobarbital group was treated with Phenobarbital, the Diazepam group was treated with Diazepam, and the Midazolam group was treated with Midazolam. The clinical treatment effects, drug onset time, and incidence of adverse reactions were compared of children in three groups. Results The total effective rate of clinical treatment of children in the Midazolam group was 90.00%,which was significantly higher than that in the Diazepam group(63.33%)and Phenobarbital group(73.33%),the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The average onset time of drug of children in the Midazolam group was significantly shorter than that in the Phenobarbital group and Midazolam group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The overall incidence of adverse reactions of children in the Midazolam group(6.67%)was significantly lower than that in the Midazolam group(30.00%)and Phenobarbital group(26.67%),the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Children with convulsion received treament by Diazepam,Phenobarbital and Midazolam, both of which had certain therapeutic effects. However, the clinical effect of Midazolam is better, the incidence of adverse reactions is low,and the clinical effect is significant, which is worthy of being popularized.
