Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of Tramadol on chills after cesarean section under combined spinal and epidural anesthesia for prevention and treatment. Methods The 100 women undergoing cesarean section who were admitted to our hospital from September 2015 to March 2017 were selected as study subjects and divided into observation group and control group with 50 cases in each group, according to random number table method. After cesarean section,Tramadol was injected intravenously in the observation group and not in the control group. The occurrence of postoperative shivering was compared between the two groups. Results At the end of the surgery, the incidence of chills in the two groups of women was not statistically different(P>0.05).After 15 minutes of treatment, the chilling tremor of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions such as nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, and dyspnea between the two groups of maternal patients (P>0.05).Conclusion Tramadol after cesarean section under combined spinal and epidural anesthesia can effectively prevent the occurrence of postoperative shivering, which is worthy of clinical application.
