Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of interlocking intramedullary nail and locking plate fixation in the treatment of adult femoral fracture. Methods From January 2013 to January 2015,80 cases of adult femoral fracture patients were selected and randomly divided into control group and observation group,40 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were treated with locking plate internal fixation, while patients in the observation group were treated with interlocking intramedullary nail internal fixation. The therapeutic effects of two internal fixation schemes were compared. Results The operative time and fracture healing time in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and the amount of operative bleeding in the observation group was less than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The excellent and good rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion It is detected adult femoral fractures with interlocking intramedullary nails and locking plate internal fixation both aid on the bone fracture recovery to some extent, but the effect with interlocking intramedullary nail is relatively better and has advantages of surgical trauma improvement and amelioration of postoperative recovery, which is worthy of promotion.
