Abstract:Objective To analyze the therapeutic effect of interlocking intramedullary nailing via suprapatellar approach in the treatment of tibial fracture. Methods 98 patients with tibial fracture who were treated in our hospital from December 2013 to June 2015 were chosen and randomly divided into control group and observation group. The control group was treated with traditional interlocking intramedullary nailing via subpatellar approach, the observation group was treated with interlocking intramedullary nailing via suprapatellar approach.Operation time, intraoperative blood loss, hospital stay, fracture healing time, therapeutic effect,HSS scores and Lysholm scores 9 months after operation were compared between two groups. Results There was no significant difference in operation time, intraoperative blood loss, hospital stay, fracture healing time between two groups(P>0.05).The excellent and good rate and degree of knee pain in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group (P<0.05).The HSS scores and Lysholm scores 9 months after operation in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01).Conclusion Interlocking intramedullary nailing via suprapatellar approach is an effective treatment for tibial fracture, which has better therapeutic effect and less knee pain risks, joint function recover is well, which deserves a further application in clinical treatment.
