Abstract:Objective To explore the application value of Xpert MTB/RIF in testing ofmycobacterium tuberculosis in bronchoalveolar lavage fluid.M ethods From April 2014 to April 2016,162 children with suspected tuberculosis in Department of Pediatrics of the First People′s Hospital of Changde were selected as the research objects,at the same time direct smear acid-fast stain,centrifugation-smear acid-fast stain and MTB/RIF test were used to detect the acid-fast bacillus in alveolar lavage fluid, and the positive rate of acid-fast bacillus of threemethodswas compared. Results Positive rate of direct smear anti-acid stain,centrifugation-smear acid-fast stain and Xpert MTB/RIF test were 14.8%, 29.6%,78.3%respectively.The positive rate of the centrifugation-smear acid-fast stain was higher than that of the direct smear anti-acid stain the positive rate, the difference was statistically significant(χ2=4.56,P<0.05);compared with centrifugation-smear anti-acid stain method, the positive rate of the Xpert MTB/RIF test was higher than that of the centrifugation-smear acid-fast stain, the difference was statistically significant(χ2=16.32,P<0.01).Conclusion Among the threemethods,Xpert MTB/RIF test is a technology, that rapid, convenient, and with high positive rate,it is worthy of clinical application.
