Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of using Xiaoyong Kuidekang Granules on treating patients with gastric ulcer and provide a scientific basis on aetiological theory of gastric toxic heat syndrome in gastric ulcer patients. Methods From April 2015 to April 2016,300 patients with gastric ulcer from outpatient clinic and inpatientwards in our hospital were selected as research objects and evenly divided into three groups by a random number table. In quadruple group of Xiaoyong Kuidekang, quadruple therapy of Xiaoyong Kuidekang was provided;in single group of Xiaoyong Kuidekang, only Xiaoyong Kuidekang was used;in quadruple group of Bi,bismuth potassium citrate as quadruple therapy was adopted. The total effective rate, therapeutic effective rate ofmain symptoms, and syndrome score of traditional Chinesemedicine (TCM)after therapy among three groupswere compared and analyzed. Results The total effective rate 96%,and syndrome score of TCM[(1.76±0.41)scores]after therapy in quadruple group of Xiaoyong Kuidekang weremuch better than those in the single group of Xiaoyong Kuidekang[87%,(3.27±0.55)scores]and quadruple group of Bi[85%,(4.03±0.78)scores],therapeutic effective rate ofmain symptoms also had a statistical difference after intergroup comparison (P<0.05).Conclusion Application of Xiaoyong Kuidekang Granules can obtain a remarkable clinical effect in treatment of patients with gastric ulcer.Meanwhile, ulceration induced by heat toxins syndrome is proved through"cause-testifying by efficacy".Application of Xiaoyong Kuidekang to clear heat and resolve toxin is worthy of promotion.
