Abstract：Objective To investigate the NBP injection in the treatment of vascular dementia（VD）clinical efficacy and safety.Methods 110 cases of patientswith VD from February 2014 to February 2016 period in our hospitalwere selected and were divided into study group and control group according to the grouping principles.The control group were used oxiracetam，the study group were used application NBP injection treatment on this basis.The therapeutic effect and safety of the two groupswere observed and compared.Results The total effective rate in the study group of VD patients was 90.91%，higher than that in the control group of 74.54% （P＜0.05）.After the treatment，the study group MMSE score was higher than before treatment（P＜0.05），the ADL scoreswas lower than that of the control group（P＜0.05）.During and after treatment showed no significant adverse reactions.Two groups before and aftermedication urea nitrogen，creatinine，ALT and AST level comparison difference had no statistical significance（P＞0.05）.Conclusion NBP VD injection therapy is effective，safety and good，it is suitable for clinical practice.
