Abstract:Objective To establish a method for the determination of hesperidin in Chenpi Jianwei tablet.M ethods A high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)method was established.The chromatographic conditions were as follows:the chromatographic column Inertsil ODS-SP (4.6mm×150mm,5μm)with themixture of acetonitrile and water asmobile phase in gradientmode,the detection wavelength at 283 nm,the flow velocity of 1.0 ml/min,the column temperature at 30℃,the theoretical plate number no less than 3000.Results The linear relationship between content and peak area was obtained during the range of 0.10-2.00μg for hesperidin.RSD of the peak area of hesperidin for the precision test,the stability test and the repeatability testwas 2.06%,2.12%and2.14%respectively.The recovery rate of hesperidin obtained were in the range of 97.36%-102.39%and the average of 99.29%with RSD of 2.06% (n=9). Conclusion Thismethod can be applied to quantitative assay of hesperidin in Chenpi Jianwei tabletwith good specificity and reproducibility.The sampling recovery test is in compliance with the requirement,which can be applied to the quality control of Chenpi Jianwei tablet.
