Clinical aPPlication of early noninvasive detection on atherosclerosis

Abstract:Objective To exp1ore the c1inica1 app1ication va1ue of ear1y noninvasive detection on atherosc1erosis.Methods 200 patients with simp1e hypertension diagnosed in our hospita1 were se1ected and divided into contro1 group and observation group,100 cases in each group.Patients in both groups were given examination of brachia1-ank1e pu1se wave ve1ocity(baPWV),ank1e-brachia1 index(ABI),cardio-ank1e vascu1ar index(CAVI),and intima-media thickness(IMT),and routine physica1 examination.Patients in observation group were given individua1 ana1ysis and treatment based on va1ues of baPWV,ABI,CAVI and IMT,whi1e patients in contro1 group were on1y given routine medica1 treatment.Cure rate and contro1 rate of b1ood pressure diseases were observed and compared,as we11 as baPWV,ABI,CAVI,IMT,and incidences of arteriosc1erosis and re1evant cardiovascu1ar and cerebrovascu1ar diseases after 24 months of treatment.Results The cure rate and contro1 rate of hypertensive disease were significant1y higher in the observation group than that of contro1 group(P<0.05).BaPWV,ABI,CAVI and IMT were significant1y 1ower in the observation group than that of contro1 group,so as the incidences of arteriosc1erosis and re1evant cardiovascu1ar and cerebrovascu1ar diseases after 24 months of treatment(P<0.05).Conclusion C1inica1 treatment under guidance of ear1y noninvasive detection of atherosc1erosis can significant1y enhance the cure rate and contro1 rate in patients with hypertension,improve baPWV,ABI,CAVI and IMT,and evident1y reduce the incidences of arteriosc1erosis and re1evant cardiovascu1ar and cerebrovascu1ar diseases.Ear1y noninvasive detection of atherosc1erosis has important significance in ear1y screening of atherosc1erosis and improvement of the prevention and contro1 of atherosc1erosis diseases.
