Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of early and delayed surgery treats neonatal necrotizing enterocolitis(NEC).Methods A total of 102 children with NEC who were admitted to the Department of Pediatric Surgery,Maternal Maternal and Child Health Hospital from February 2015 to March 2020 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into group A(51 cases)and group B(51 cases)according to different surgical method. The patients in group A were treated with early surgery, while those in group B were treated with delayed surgery. The short-term prognosis, total incidence of complications and follow-up after 6 months were compared between two groups. Results The cure rate of group A was higher than that of group B,and the proportion of disease deterioration to stageⅢand the total mortality after 6 months follow-up were lower than those of group B,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The total incidence of complications in group A was lower than that in group B,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The weight of group A was higher than that of group B 6 months after operation, and the total incidence of long-term complications was lower than that of group B,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The treatment newborn necrotizing enterocolitis for prognosis by early surgery, cure rate is high, complications is little, prognosis is good,it is worth to be used.
