Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of TCM syndrome differentiation combined with Vinpocetine Injection in the treatment of sudden deafness with vertigo. Methods A total of 60 cases of sudden deafness accompanied with vertigo admitted to our hospital from October 2016 to October 2018 were selected as the study objects, they were randomly divided into control group (30 cases) and observation group (30 cases) according to random number table method. The control group was treated with intravenous Vinpocetine Injection, while the observation group was treated with TCM syndrome differentiation on the basis of the control group. Two groups of patients were treated continuously for 10 days. The therapeutic effect of sudden deafness and vertigo and pure tone hearing threshold before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results The total effective rate of treatment for sudden deafness in the observation group was 66.7%, which was higher than 50.0% in the control group, the difference was significant (P<0.05).After treatment, the pure tone hearing threshold of the two groups was lower than that before treatment, and the pure tone hearing threshold of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).The total effective rate of vertigo symptoms in the observation group was 83.3%, which was higher than 70.0% in the control group, the difference was significant (P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of TCM syndrome differentiation combined with vinpocetine injection in treating sudden deafness with vertigo is better than that of Western medicine alone, which has certain clinical application value.
