Abstract:Objective To explore the risk factors of the occurrence of essential hypertension complicated with cerebral infarction. Methods A total of 377 hospitalized patientswith primary diagnosis of essential hypertension who were admitted to the Department of Neurology in the First Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University from January 2016to July 2018 were selected in the study. They were divided into hypertensive complicated cerebral infarction group(114cases)and simple hypertensive group (263cases)according to whether they were complicated with cerebral infarction.Another 109 caseswith normal physical examination during the same period were selected as the healthy control group.Univariate analysis was used to analyze general clinical data such as systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, and coronary heart disease proportion of all researchers aswell as urea nitrogen(BUN),alkaline phosphatase(ALP),homocysteine(Hcy),white blood cell count(WBC),platelet count(PLT),fibrinogen(Fbg),high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP)and D-dimer(D-D)and other laboratory indicators for evaluation.Bymultivariate analysis, the risk factors for hypertension complicated with cerebral infarction were determined. Results Univariate analysis showed that systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, the proportion of coronary heart disease, and the levels of BUN,ALP,Hcy,WBC,Fbg,hs-CRP and D-D in the hypertensive complicated cerebral infarction group were higher than those in the simple hypertension group and healthy control group, while the level of PLT was lower than that in the simple hypertension group and healthy control group, the differenceswere statistically significant(P<0.05).Multivariate analysis results showed that ALP(β=0.61,OR=1.88,95%CI:1.38-2.61),Hcy(β=0.37,OR=1.62,95%CI:1.17-2.25),Fbg(β=0.53,OR=1.85,95%CI:1.35-2.52)were risk factors for hypertension complicated with cerebral infarction (P<0.05).Conclusion ALP,Hcy and Fbg are the risk factors for hypertension complicated with cerebral infarction, which are important for clinical evaluation of cerebral infarction.
