Therapeutic effect of radical hysterectomy with the preservation of pelvic autonomic nerve in the treatment of cervical cancer

Abstract：ObjectiveTo analyze the therapeutic effect of radical hysterectomy with the preservation of pelvic autonomic nerve in the treatment of cervical cancer.MethodsA total of 160 patients with cervical cancer treated by our hospital were selected in this study from August 2012 to July 2016.They were randomly divided into control group and observation group by computer,80 cases in each group.The patients in control group were treated with traditional radical hysterectomy,while the patients in observation group were treated with radical hysterectomy with the preservation of pelvic autonomic nerve.The indexes of maximal abdominal pressure,maximal bladder pressure,the first amount of urine,amount of bleeding in hysterectomy,total amount of bleeding during surgery,total operation time,hysterectomy time after therapy were compared in the two groups.ResultsAfter treatment,the maximum abdominal pressure[(4.81±1.95)cmH2O]in the observation group was lower than the control group[(11.01±4.12)cmH2O];the maximal bladder pressure[(36.12±7.25)cmH2O]was higher than the control group[(28.01±6.75)cmH2O];the first amount of urine[(160.79±43.95)ml]was less than the control group[(259.12±108.54)ml];the amount of bleeding in hysterectomy[(505.12±98.01)ml]and total amount of bleeding during surgery[(702.11±110.50)ml]were less than the control group[(663.01±98.17),(735.16±121.15)ml];the total operation time[(210.12±15.43)min]and hysterectomy time[(73.01±12.33)min]were shorter than the control group[(241.77±16.30),(78.45±12.78)min].The differences were statistical significance (P＜0.05).ConclusionRadical hysterectomy with the preservation of pelvic autonomic nerve on treating cervical cancer can obtain a remarkable effect by decreasing the amount of bleeding in hysterectomy and total amount of bleeding during surgery,shortening the total operation time and hysterectomy time,improving patients′indexes,and promoting rehabilitation.
