Abstract：Objective To explore the application effect of all-round fine nursing model in elderly patients with severe pneumonia.Methods A total of 94 elderly patients with severe pneumonia admitted in Honghu Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Hubei Province from March 2017 to April 2019 were selected as the research objects, and they were divided into the routine group(47 cases)and the fine group(47 cases)according to the random number table method.The routine nursing was carried out in routine group, while the all-round fine nursing mode was adopted in the fine group.The mortality during hospitalization, duration of mechanical ventilation and length of hospital stay were compared, and the changes of mental state at admission and on the day of discharge were compared, then the complications during hospitalization was also compared.Results There was no significant difference in mortality between the routine group (14.89%) and the fine group (6.38%) (P＞0.05).The time of mechanical ventilation were (7.58±1.52) and hospitalization (21.35±3.14)d in the fine group shorter than those in the routine group of (10.69±2.26) and (27.95±4.06)d respectively, and the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).The scores of self-rating anxiety scale (SAS) was(45.62±4.91) score and self-rating depression scale (SDS) was (46.89±5.03) score on the day of discharge in the fine group were lower than those in the routine group of (50.84±4.72) and (52.07±5.36) score respectively, and the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).The SAS and SDS scores of the two groups on the day of discharge were lower than those at admission, and the differences were statistically significant (P＜0.05).The total incidence rate of complications in the fine group (8.51%) was lower than that of the routine group (27.66%), and the difference was statistically significant (P＜0.05).Conclusion The all-round fine nursing mode for elderly patients with severe pneumonia can significantly shorten the time of mechanical ventilation and hospitalization, improve the psychological state and reduce the occurrence of complications, with good application effect.
