Application of synchronous cognitive intervention for family members in patients with small pulmonary nodules

Abstract:Objective To explore the value and advantages of synchronous cognitive intervention for family members in patients with small pulmonary nodules.Methods A total of 115 patients with small pulmonary nodules admitted to Chenggong District People′s Hospital, Kunming from April 2019 to November 2020 were selected.They were divided into the comparison group (57 cases) and the analysis group (58 cases) using simple random method.The comparison group were given conventional nursing method and the analysis group were given synchronous cognitive method for family members.The psychological status, scores of health knowledge mastery and health behavior, quality of daily life score and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups.Results The scores of anxiety scale and depression scale in the analysis group were lower than those in the comparison group, with statistical differences (P<0.05).The scores of health knowledge mastery and health behavior in the analysis group were higher than those in the comparison group, with statistical differences (P<0.05).The scores of social function, energy, physical pain, and physiological function in the analysis group were higher than those in the comparison group, with statistical differences (P<0.05).The nursing total satisfaction in the analysis group was 98.28%, which was higher than that in the comparison group of 82.46%, with statistical difference (P<0.05).Conclusion Synchronous cognitive intervention for family members can improve psychological state, daily life,health knowledge mastery and health behavior, and build a good nurse-patient relationship in patients with small pulmonary nodules.It is worthy of popularization and application.
