Abstract:Objective To investigate the effect of low-temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation on serum endothelin-1(ET-1),platelet membrane protein-140(GMP-140)and nitric oxide(NO)levels in children with snoring. Methods A total of 176 children with snoring admitted to Shangrao Municipal Hospital from May 2020 to February 2021 were selected as the study subjects, and divided into the observation group(88 cases)and the control group(88 cases)according to the random number table method. The control group was treated with tonsillectomy + nasal endoscopic adenoidectomy, and the observation group was treated with low-temperature plasma radiofrequential ablation.Quebec sleep questionnaire(QSQ)and Epworth sleepiness scale(ESS)were used to evaluate the sleep quality of the children, and the perioperative indicators, sleep quality and vascular endothelial function of the two groups were compared. Results The operative time, pain time and symptom relief time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group, and the intraoperative blood loss was less than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).QSQ score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, and ESS score was lower than that of the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The levels of ET-1 and GMP-140 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the level of NO was higher than that in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The application of low-temperature plasma radiofrequency ablation for children with snoring has significant therapeutic advantages. It can reduce bleeding, relieve postoperative pain, and promote symptom relief. It can also effectively improve the quality of sleep in children and help the recovery of vascular endothelial function, and is an ideal treatment option, which is worthy of extensive clinical practice.
