Effect of rTMS stimulation of different brain regions combined with Paroxetine in treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder

Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of rTMS stimulation of different brain regions combined with Paroxetine in treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder.Methods A total of 78 cases of patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder admitted to Shangrao Third People′s Hospital from January 2018 to December 2019 were selected as the research objects,and divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method,with 39 cases in each group.The observation group treated with rTMS stimulation of right prefrontal lobe and bilateral auxiliary motor area combined with Paroxetine,and the control group treated with rTMS stimulation of right prefrontal lobe combined with Paroxetine.The Yale-Brown Obsessive Compulsive Scale(Y-BOCS)score,Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD)score,Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA)score,total incidence of adverse reactions and clinical effect were compared between the two groups.Results After treatment,the Y-BOCS score,HAMD score and HAMA score in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).After treatment,the total effective rate of treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).And the total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.01).Conclusion In clinical treatment of patients with obsessive-compulsive disorder,the rTMS stimulation of multiple brain regions combined with Paroxetine treatment will be more conducive to improve the treatment effect of patients.It is worth clinical application than stimulating the right prefrontal lobe alone,and worthy of clinical application.
