Abstract:Objective To systematically evaluate the effect of isokinetic muscle strength training on the rehabilitation of upper limb motor function for stroke patients with hemiplegia. Methods Literature of randomized controlled trials on the effect of isokinetic muscle strength training on the rehabilitation of upper limb motor function for stroke patients with hemiplegia was retrieved from PubMed and CNKI database by computer, and the retrieval time was from the establishment of the database to October 2020.According to the literature quality assessment criteria recommended by the Cochrane manual, the quality of the included literatures was evaluated, and RevMan 5.3 and Stata 15.0 software were used for Meta-analysis.Results Seven articles were included, with a sample size of 456 cases.Meta-analysis results showed that isokinetic muscle strength training could improve the peak torque(PT),average power(AP)and total work(TW)of elbow joints in stroke patients with hemiplegia, the mean difference(MD)of outcome indicators and its 95% confidence interval(CI)were:2.06(95%CI[1.06,3.05],P<0.01),6.83(95%CI[-0.38,14.03],P<0.05),1.69(95%CI[-0.23,3.61],P<0.05),4.03(95%CI[2.79,5.26],P<0.01),15.38(95%CI[-6.02,36.78],P<0.05),28.98(95%CI[25.37,32.58],P<0.01).Isokinetic muscle strength training could reduce the improved Ashworth scale(MAS)score in stroke patients with hemiple gia,but the difference was not statistically significant, the outcome index MD and its 95%CI were-0.02(95%CI[-0.04,0.01],P>0.05).The results of Egger′s test on funnel plots showed that there was no publication bias in the Meta-analysis of this study. Conclusion Isokinetic muscle strength training has a positive therapeutic effect on the rehabilitation of upper limb motor function for stroke patients with hemiplegia. In the future studies,high-quality and large-sample clinical randomized controlled trials would be needed to further verify the effect of isokinetic muscle strength training to improve the rehabilitation of upper limb motor function for stroke patients with hemiplegia.
