Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of open hernia repair and laparoscopic hernia repair treating initial inguinal hernia of adult. Methods The clinical data of 64 patients with initial inguinal hernia of adult who were admitted to Suzhou First People′s Hospital from January 2017 to December 2018 were retrospectively analyzed.According to the different treatment method, they were divided into group A (34 cases) and group B (30 cases),group A underwent open small incision tension-free hernia repair group (Lichtenstein operation),group B underwent laparoscopic hernia repair group (TAPP operation). The intraoperative bleeding, hospital stay, postoperative pain duration, postoperative anal exhaust time and hospitalization expenses were observed and compared between the two groups. Results The operation time of group A was shorter than that of group B,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The blood loss in group A was more than that in group B,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The postoperative anal exhaust time of group A was shorter than that of group B,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The length of stay in group A was longer than that in group B,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The hospitalization expenses in group A was less than that in group B,the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).Conclusion Laparoscopic hernia repair and open tension-free hernia repair are safe and effective methods for the treatment of inguinal femoral hernia, but laparoscopic hernia repair will make patients bear high cost of medical treatment,so we should consider the operation plan comprehensively according to the patients′ various conditions and achieve individualized treatment.
