Abstract:Objective To explore the influence of systematic preventive measures on liquid configuration errors in pharmacy intravenous admixture service (PIVAS).Methods A total of 238 bags of liquid prepared in Shenyang Orthopedic Hospital from April 1,2018 to March 31,2019 were selected as the control group, and a total of 238 bags of liquid from April 1,2019 to March 31,2020 were selected as the experimental group. The control group adopted conventional management methods, and the experimental group adopted systematic preventive measures. The error rate of the two groups was compared, and the overall error rate was counted and the reasons were analyzed. Results The error rate of liquid configuration in the experimental group (2.10%) was lower than that in the control group (6.30%),the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).The error rate of liquid configuration in the intravenous drug dispensing center was mainly composed of prescription review error, drug dispensing error, infusion configuration error and drug return link error. Conclusion The liquid configuration of PIVAS is directly related to the medication safety of patients. To determine the causes of dispensing errors and take systematic preventive measures can achieve good intervention effect and reduce the error rate.
