Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effect of postural change combined with manual fetal head rotation in correcting persistent occipitoposterior position. Methods From August 2018 to January 2019,a total of 180 cases of persistent posterior occipital parturients who gave birth in Changsha Central Hospital of Hu′nan Province were selected as the subjects.90 parturients with persistent occipitoposterior position who underwent manual fetal head transfer intervention during labor from August to October 2018 were included as the control group, and 90 parturients with persistent occipitoposterior position who underwent combined body position change and manual fetal head transfer from November 2018 to January 2019 were included as the observation group, the time and the success rate of reduction in the first and second stages of labor between the two groups were compared. Results The duration of the first and second stages of labor in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);the success rate of reduction in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion In the process of persistent occipitoposterior dystocia, the method of postural change combined with manual fetal head transfer has advantages over the traditional manual fetal head transfer method in terms of labor duration and success rate, which is an effective measure to correct persistent occipitoposterior position and reduce the incidence of cephalic dystocia, and can be popularized and applied in clinical practice.
