Abstract:Objective To investigate and analyze the effect of adding lactase and lactose-free milk powder in the treatment of lactose intolerance in infants. Methods A total of 106 infants with lactose intolerance admitted to our hospital from July 2016 to July 2017 were selected as research objects and divided into the control group and the observation group, 53 cases in each group. The control group was given lactose-free feeding, and the observation group was additionally administered with lactase on the basis of breastfeeding. The clinical treatment effects of the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results In the observation group, the total effective rate of treatment and the clinical symptom relief rate were higher than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05).The number of bowel movements in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the body weight of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05).The time of diarrhea and bloating remission, the time of recovery of vomiting milk, the length of hospital stay in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the clinical symptom score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, with statistically significant difference (P<0.05).The levels of trace elements of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).There was no significant difference in the incidence rate of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05).Conclusion Administration of lactase to children with lactose intolerance can reduce the time and frequency of diarrhea, relieve clinical symptoms, and improve the trace elements in children, with significant clinical therapeutic effect.
