Abstract:Objective To observe the effect of pelvic floor bioelectric stimulation on postpartum lactation and uterine involution, and to explore the clinical application value. Methods A total of 180 primiparas from 20 to 40 years old with no gestational co-morbidities and complications who gave birth to full-term infants from March 2015 to January 2017 in Women and Children′s Hospital in Nanhai District of Foshan City were selected as the study subjects. The prospective randomized method was used to divide the patients into study group A,study group B and control group, with 60 cases in each group.Patients in the control group were given postpartum routine nursing care, patients in the study group were given different treatment protocols using bioelectric technique on the basis of the control group(surface projection of the uterus body+sacrococcygeal region in group A,surface projection of bilateral uterine horn+surface projection of uterine body+sacrococcygeal region). The height of uterus fundus, the condition of lactation and uterine involution by ultrasound examination were compared. Results The uterus in the study group A was smaller than that in the study group B at 42 days after birth, and the difference between groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The uterus in the study group A was smaller than that in the control group at 42 days after birth, and the difference between groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The uterus in the study group B was smaller than that in the control group 42 days after birth, and the difference between groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The change rate of uterine height at 72 hours after delivery was compared between the study group A,study group B and control group, there was no statistically significant difference between the three groups (P>0.05).The postpartum lactation adequacy rate and the postpartum 24 h lactation function score in the study group A were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The postpartum lactation adequacy rate and the postpartum 24 h lactation function score in the study group B were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no statistically significant difference in the postpartum lactation adequacy rate and postpartum 24 h lactation function score between the study group A and study group B (P>0.05).Conclusion Early application of bioelectric technique at 2 h after delivery can promote postpartum uterine involution and promote early lactation.
