Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the influence of Ulinastatin as an adjuvant therapy on inflammatory response and organ function in patients with sepsis in intensive care unit(ICU).MethodsFrom March 2014 to March 2017,124 patients with sepsis in ICU were selected as subjects.According to a random number table method, they were evenly divided into control group and experimental group,62 cases in each group. In the control group, routine treatment was used, while in the experimental group,on the basis of the control group,Ulinastatin as an adjuvant therapy was added. The content of serum inflammatory cytokines before and after treatment and the indicators of heart, liver, and kidney functions in the two groups were compared.ResultsBefore treatment, the levels of TNF-α,IL-6,hs-CRP,ALT,AST,Cr,BUN, LDH,and CK were compared between the two groups, and the differences were not statistically significant(P>0.05).After therapy, the levels of TNF-α,IL-6,hs-CRP,ALT,AST,Cr,BUN,LDH,and CK in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionApplication of Ulinastatin in the adjuvant treatment of sepsis patients in ICU can significantly improve the level of inflammatory response and reduce the damage of important organs, which is worthy to be widely promoted.
