Meta-analysis of Salviae Miltiorrhizae and Ligustrazine Hydrochloride Injection combined with Low Molecular Weight Heparin in preventing lower extremity deep venous thrombosis associated with orthopedic diseases

Abstract:Objective To systematically evaluate the effect and safety of Salviae Miltiorrhizae and Ligustrazine Hydrochloride Injection combined with Low Molecular Weight Heparin in preventing lower extremity deep venous thrombosis associated with orthopedic diseases. Methods The randomized controlled clinical trials were retrieved related to Salviae Miltiorrhizae and Ligustrazine Hydrochloride Injection combined with Low Molecular Weight Heparin (combination group) versus Low Molecular Weight Heparin (control group) used to prevent orthopedic related diseases in the prevention of lower limb deep vein thrombosis by computer in China Biology Medicine (CBM),China National Knowledge Internet (CNKI),VIP database (VIP),Wanfang database,PubMed,Embase,Cochrane Library,Web of Science and other databases. The time was from the establishment of the database to November 2019. Documents were selected according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria,the methodological quality of the included studies was strictly evaluated and data were extracted,and Meta analysis was performed using RevMan 5.3. Results A total of 955 patients were enrolled in 11 studies. Meta analysis results showed that the incidence of deep vein thrombosis,Ddimer,and plasma activated partial thrombin time after treatment in the combination group were better than those in the control group,and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no statistically significant difference in the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion The application of Salviae Miltiorrhizae and Ligustrazine Hydrochloride Injection combined with Low Molecular Weight Heparin can effectively improve the blood hypercoagulability and prevent the incidence of deep vein thrombosis,and it is safe and does not increase the adverse reactions,which is worth clinical promotion.
