Abstract:Objective To investigate the effectofWeChat-based continuous care on self-care ability and healthy behavior of peritoneal dialysis(PD)patients. Methods A total of 90 PD patients admitted to our hospital from January 2013to June 2018 were selected as the study subjects, and were divided into observation group (n=45)and control group (n=45)according to the random double-blind method. The control group was followed up by routine telephone after discharge, and the observation group was given WeChat type continuous nursing.Self-care ability and healthy behavior between the two groups were compared. Results After 6months of intervention, the ESCA scores of health knowledge level,self-care skills,self-care responsibility, and self-concept in the observation group were (40.86±3.25),(31.57±4.15),(24.03±4.14),(25.35±2.97)points,whichwerehigherthanthoseinthecontrolgroupfor(31.26±4.02),(27.54±5.25),(19.02±5.01),(22.15±5.11)points,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).After 12months of intervention, the ESCA scores of the observation group were(43.84±2.97),(35.12±3.56),(27.18±2.84),(28.27±2.02)points,which were higher than those of the control group for(34.74±2.89),(31.25±4.86),(21.64±4.16),(24.15±2.68)points,the differenceswere statistically significant(P<0.05).The HPLP scores of the observation group after 6and 12months of intervention were(101.36±4.5)and(129.54±4.12)points,which were higher than those of the control group for(89.15±7.21)and (102.74±4.62)points,the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion It is beneficial to improving the health behavior, improve the self-care ability and benefit the outcome of the patients.
