Abstract:Objective To investigate the application application effect of free posture in correcting the occipitoposterior/occipitotransverse position during the first stage of labor. Methods Eighty occipitoposterior/occipitotransverse puerperae who delivered in our hospital from January 2017 to December 2018 were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into observation group (n=40) and control group (n=40) by random number table method. Pregnant women in the observation group gave birth in free posture, while those in the control group delivered in the traditional clinostatism. Delivery, labour time, total and total treatment satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The success rate of translocation and the vaginal delivery rate in the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the rate of cesarean section and the incidence of neonatal asphyxia were lower than those of the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The first stage of labour, the second stage of labour, and the total stage of labor in the observation group were all shorter than those in the control group, the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The total treatment satisfaction in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of free posture in correcting the occipitoposterior/occipitotransverse position at the first stage of labor is obvious. It can increase the success rate of transposition, vaginal delivery rate, reduce the rate of cesarean section and the incidence of neonatal asphyxia, and shorten the labor time, which is of high application value.
