Early diagnostic value and clinical significance of procalcitonin in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease complicated with heart failure complicated with pulmonary infection

ObjectiveTo investigate the value of procalcitonin in the early diagnosis and clinical significance of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease complicated with heart failure accompanied by pulmonary infection.MethodsChoose from January 2016 to May 2017 in our hospital accepts patients with 60 cases,complicated with heart failure with pulmonary infection in 20 cases,as the observation group,only 20 cases have heart failure as the reference group,20 healthy cases as control group.The procalcitonin level and the detection of pathogens in the three groups were observed.ResultsThe difference in calcitonin level between the three groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Famian detected in pathogenic bacteria,chronic obstructive pulmonary disease complicated with heart failure in patients with lung infection there was a variety of pathogenic bacteria,gram negative bacteria were mainly;and the gram negative bacteria and gram positive bacteria group comparison,the procalcitonin levels also showed significant differences(P<0.05);at the same time in different levels in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease,procalcitonin levels also had significant difference.ConclusionThere is a significant difference in procalcitonin levels in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease complicated with heart failure accompanied by pulmonary infection,and clinical treatment can be carried out according to the level of procalcitonin.
