Abstract:Objective To investigate the psychological relasticity of knee osteoarthritis patients in old age institutions and its influence factors. Methods Convenience sampling method was used,150 KOA patients from two pension institutions which the same size and condition in Taiyuan,Shanxi were selected as the subjects from March to July 2018.Psycho-elasticity scale(CD-RISC),concise pain scale(BPI),pain self-efficacy questionnaire(PSEQ),geriatric depression scale and self-designed general information questionnaire were used to investigate them. Results A total of 142 valid questionnaires were collected, with an effective recovery rate of 94.67%.The total score of KOA elderly people was(60.62±12.65)points.It was lower than the norm(65.40±13.90)points(P<0.05).Pain self-efficacy score was(36.66±10.91)points.It was positively correlated with psychological resilience(r=0.875,P<0.001)and toughness(r=0.804,P<0.001),self-reliance(r=0.779,P<0.001),optimism(r=0.394,P<0.001)of KOA patients in.old age institutions Number of children, the frequency of visiting the elderly to relatives and friends, emotional state and pain self-efficacy were the influencing factors of psychological resilience of KOA patients (P<0.05),which explained 79.7%of the variation of psychological resilience. Conclusion Medical staff in old-age institutions should pay attention to the psychological problems of KOA patients, and carry out targeted psychological intervention and support,so as to improve the psychological resilience level of KOA patients.
