Abstract:Objective To explore the practical effect of self-management model in postoperative rehabilitation of lumbar disc herniation (LDH).Methods From January to December of 2017,200 patients of LDH treated with CT-guided percutaneous endoscopic resection of nucleus pulposus were selected. The patients were divided into observation group and control group according to random number table method,100 cases in each group. The control group adopted the conventional education model, and the observation group implemented self-management model on the basis of the control group.Visual analogue scale (VAS) score,self-management assessment scale, quality of life assessment (QOL)scale and compliance rate of disease-related knowledge were compared in the two groups. Results After intervention by self-management model,VAS and QOL score in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the self-managerment assessment scale scores and compliance rate of disease-related knowledge were higher than those in the control group, with statistically differences (P<0.05).Conclusion The effect of self-management model in postoperative rehabilitation of LDH is satisfactory.
