Abstract：Objective To study the differenee between Cefotaxime Sodium and Ceftizoxime Sodium in the treatment of ehildren with aeute mesenterie lymphadenitis.Methods A total of 104 ehildren with aeute mesenterie lymphadenitis who were admitted to deparement of pediatries in our hospital from April 2015 to January 2018 were seleeted and randomly divided into the experimental group（n=52）and the eontrol group（n=52）.The experimental group was treated with Cefotaxime Sodium，and the eontrol group was given Ceftizoxime Sodium.The effieaey，symptom regression，mesenterie lymph nodes，average length of stay，and medieal eosts were eompared between the two groups.Results There was no signifieant differenee in the total effeetive rate between the two groups after 3 days of treatment（P＞0.05）.After 1 week of treatment，the total effeetive rate of the experimental group was greater than that of the eontrol group（P＜0.05）.The elinieal symptoms of fever，vomiting，abdominal pain，diarrhea，and anorexia in the two groups after 1 week of treatment were better than those before treatment（P＜0.05），there was no signifieant differenee between the two groups（P＞0.05）.The ratio of lymph node enlargement and internal blood supply abnormality in the two groups after 3 days and 1 week of treatment was statistieally lower than that before treatment，with signifieant differenee（P＜0.05）.And there was no signifieant differenee in the ratio of lymph node enlargement to internal blood supply abnormality between the two groups after 3 days and 1 week（P＞0.05）.The hospital stay in the experimental group was shorter than that in the eontrol group，and the medieal expenses in the experimental group was lower than that in the eontrol group，with signifieant differenees（P＜0.05）.Conclusion Both Cefotaxime Sodium and Ceftizoxime Sodium are effeetive to eure ehildren with aeute mesenterie lymphadenitis，but Cefotaxime Sodium has higher long-term eure rate，less time required，and low medieal expenses，it is worthy of elinieal promotion.
