Abstract:objective To compare the effect of intravenous indwelling needle and scalp needle in pediatric clinic. Methods 102 cases of children admitted to our hospital from June 2016 to May 2017 were included in the study. They were randomly divided into control group and experimental group,51 cases in each group.Children in the control group were treated with disposable scalp needles for infusion. The experimental group of children Intravenous indwelling needles were used for infusion. The incidence of adverse events, puncture success rate, and care satisfaction were compared between the two groups. Results The incidence of adverse events in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group, and the satisfaction rate of nursing and the success rate of one puncture were higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion The use of intravenous indwelling needle can reduce the number of puncture, reduce the pain of children, and reduce the occurrence of drug fluid extravasation and detubation.
