Abstract:Objective To investigate the value of spiral CT in the diagnosis of lung cancer. Methods Seventy-eight patients with lung cancer from February 2015 to March 2018 treated in our department were selected as the subjects. All patients were performed with spiral CT examinations.Spiral CT scans were performed to analyze the abnormalities of lung cancer, pathological types, and clinical staging results. Results The detection rates of lung cancer wall thickening,extraluminal/intraluminal lesions, obstructive lesions and metastatic changes by spiral CT examinations were 48.7%,51.3%,59.0%,12.8%,which was not significantly different from those by pathological examinations for 51.3%,52.6%,60.3%and 15.4%(P>0.05).Among 78 patients,76 cases of lung cancer were detected by spiral CT.The detection rate of lung cancer by spiral CT was 97.4%,and the missed diagnosis rate was 2.6%.The diagnostic accuracy of spiral CT examinations for central lung cancer, peripheral lung cancer and diffuse lung cancer, and the total accuracy were 100.0%,97.3%,85.7%and 97.4%compared with 100.0%,100.0%,100.0%and 100.0%for pathological examinations(P>0.05).The accuracy of spiral CT detection in stageⅠ,Ⅱ,Ⅲ andⅣ lung cancer, and the total accuracy were 95.7%,100.0%,100.0%,100.0%and 97.4%in comparison with the pathological examination results of 100.0%,100.0%,100.0%,100.0%and 100.0%,which didn′t display great difference(P>0.05).Conclusion Spiral CT is effective in diagnosing lung cancer, and the rate of missed diagnosis is low.
