Influence of family humanistic care on quality of life of family members of schizophrenic patients

Abstract：Objective To explore the influence of family humanistic care on the quality of life of family members of schizophrenia patients.Methods The family members of 100 schizophrenic patients admitted to our hospital from March to June 2016 were selected as the research objects,and randomly divided into control group and observation group,with 50 cases in each group.The control group was given routine medical care,while the study group was given family humanistic care.Self-rating anxiety scale (SAS),self-rating depression scale (SDS)scores and quality of life scores before and after nursing intervention were compared between the two groups.Results Before the intervention,there was no significant difference in SAS and SDS scores between the two groups(P＞0.05).After the intervention,the SAS and SDS scores of the family members of the patients in the observation group were significantly better than those in the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Before the intervention,there was no statistically significant difference in the quality of life scores between the two groups (P＞0.05).After the intervention,the quality of life scores of the family members of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group,and the difference was statistically significant(P＜0.05).Conclusion The application of family humane care in the family members of schizophrenia patients can relieve the anxiety and depression of the family members of the patients and promote the improvement of the life quality of the family members of the patients,which deserved to be popularized and applied.
