Abstract:Objective To study the clinical pathological characteristics of endometrial carcinoma combined with uterine fibroids. Methods From August 2015 to December 2016,60 patients with endometrial carcinoma combined with uterine fibroids treated in our hospital were selected as group A.Another batch of 60 patients with endometrial carcinoma was randomly selected as group B for research analysis. The tumor histological grades, surgical pathological stages, progesterone receptor(PR),estrogen receptor(ER),ascites cytology, pathological type, and lymph node metastasis were compared and analyzed in both groups. Results The pathological stage of group B was significantly higher than that of group A (P<0.05).The tumor pathological grading in the group A was significantly lower than that in the group B with the characteristics of shallow muscle infiltration and high tissue differentiation. After surgery, the positivity rates of PR and ER in the group A were 61.7%and 78.3%.In the group B,the rates were 23.3%and 41.7%respectively.There were significant differences between the two groups (P<0.05).No significant difference in lymph node metastasis, ascites cytology,or pathological types was displayed between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusion Compared with endometrial carcinoma alone, combination of endometrial carcinoma and uterine fibroids has lower histological stage and tumor pathological grading, shallower muscle infiltration, better tissue differentiation, and higher positivity rates of PR and ER.
