Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the clinical effect of fire needle with"fire stagnation requiring dissipation"treating acute gouty arthritis.MethodsA total of 60 patientswith acute gouty arthritis admitted into the department of acupuncture andmoxibustion from October 2016 to October 2017 were selected as the subjects and they were randomly divided into the treatment group and the control group,there were 30 cases in each group.The treatment group was given fire needle treatmentwhile the control group was given Etoricoxib Tablets and small dose of Colchicine treatment.The clinical effects between the two groups were compared.ResultsThere was no significant difference in the comprehensive score and VAS score in the two groups after treatment(P>0.05).After treatment,the comprehensive score and VAS score were significantly decreased,compared with those before treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The comprehensive score and VAS score in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group and the time of pain relief and the duration of pain were significantly shorter than those in the control group,and the differences between the two groupswere statistically significant(P<0.05).The total effective rate of the two groupswas not statistically significant(P>0.05).ConclusionFire needle therapy in the treatment of acute gouty arthritis can effectively improve joint symptoms,and its effect is equivalent to western medicine,but its analgesic effect is better than westernmedicine,and it isworthy of clinical promotion.
