Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the clinical efficacy of Gangliosides in children with viral encephalitis.MethodsA total of 60 children with viral encephalitis treated from January 2012 to December 2017 in our hospitalwere selected. The subjects were divided into two groups according to the registration number,30 cases in each group. The control group took the conventional therapy;the study group took the gangliosides. The disappearance time and improvement time of clinical symptoms, clinical effect and NHP (Nottingham Health Profile)points were compared.ResultsThe disappearance time and improvement time of clinical symptoms for study group were significantly shorter than that in the control group (P<0.05);the total effective rate for study group (90.00%)was significantly higher than that in the control group(63.33%)(P<0.05);the adverse event rate and recurrence rate for study group (10.00%,3.33%)were significantly lower than that in the control group(36.67%,16.67%)(P<0.05);the NHP points for study group were significantly better than that for control group, the differenceswere statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionFor children with viral encephalitis, the Gangliosides can greatly improve the clinical symptoms and life quality, relieve the pain and reduce the recurrence rate.
