Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical effect of proximal femur anti-rotation nail in the treatment of elderly intertrochanteric fractures.MethodsA total of 60 elderly patientswith intertrochanteric fractures treated in our hospital from August 2012 to August 2017 were selected as research subjects.According to different treatment methods, they were divided into control group(n=25)and observation group(n=35).In the control group, dynamic hip screw was used, while in the observation group, proximal femur anti-rotation intramedullary nail was adopted. The clinical indexes and therapeutic effect of the two groups were compared.ResultsThe excellent and good rate was 91.4%in the observation group, which was higher than that in the control group accounting for 68.0%,with statistical difference(P<0.05).The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, with significant difference(P<0.05).The operation time, healing time and hospital stay in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, intraoperative blood loss was lesser than those in the control group, which were displayed statistical significance(P<0.05).ConclusionThe proximal femur anti-rotation intramedullary nail obtains a good effect on intertrochanteric fractures in the elderly in high safety and it isworthy of promotion and application.
