Abstract:ObjectiveTo investigate the clinical effect of tension-free hernia repair of the lower abdomen transverse incision and traditional open tension-free hernia repair in the treatment of adult inguinal hernia.MethodsA total of 83 patients with inguinal hernia admitted to our hospital from January 2014 to December 2016 were selected as research objects, and were divided into control group(41 cases)and observation group(42 cases)by random number tablemethod.Patients in observation group were treated with tension-free hernioplasty of transverse incision of lower abdomen, while patients in control group were treated with traditional open tension-free hernioplasty, and the two groupswere recorded, including operation time, postoperative bleeding amount and hospitalization time. The postoperative wound healing of two groups of patientswas recorded.ResultsThe operation time and hospitalization time of patients in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group, and the postoperative bleeding volume was significantly reduced compared with that in the control group, the difference was statistical significance (P<0.05).The healing rate of patients in the observation group was better than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).ConclusionTension-free hernioplasty of transverse incision in lower abdomen has less skin scar and less trauma, which can shorten the operation time and postoperative hospital stay, reduce postoperative bleeding, facilitate the postoperative incision recovery, and isworthy of clinical promotion.
