Abstract:Objective To investigate the effects of Cinepazide and Mecobalamin on the nerve conduction velocity, vibration perception threshold(VPT)and serum parameters in diabetic peripheral neuropathy(DPN)patients. Methods Eighty DPN patients treated in our hospital from March 2015 to March 2017 were selected as the subjects, and divided into observation group(Cinepazide and Mecobalamin therapy)and reference group(sole Mecobalamin),with 40 cases in each group according to the method of parallel control. The nerve conduction velocity, the VPT level and serum parameters before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Results Before and after treatment, the nerve conduction velocity was significantly different between the two groups(P<0.05).After the treatment, the nerve conduction velocity in various parts in the observation group was significantly greater than that of the reference group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The VPT values of the two groups before and after treatment were significantly different(P<0.05).After treatment, the decrease of VPT in the observation group was more remarkable compared with that in the reference group (P<0.05).The levels of serum HMGB1,Hcy,MDA,NSE and S100β in the two groups before and after treatment were significantly different(P<0.05).Each parameter in the observation group was statistically different from that in the reference group (P<0.05).Conclusion Combination of cinepazide and mecobalamin in the treatment of DPN can promote microcirculation and recovery of damaged nerve function, and obtain a remarkable effect.
