Abstract：Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of acupuncture in the treatment of acute apoplexy hemiplegia. Methods 67 patients with acute apoplexy hemiplegia from November 2012 to June 2015 in our hospital were selected and divided into the observation group（35 cases）and the control group（32 cases）according to the differences of the treatment methods.The control group was given routine drug treatment and routine rehabilitation training after admission，the observation group was given acupuncture treatment on the basis of the observation group.The score of motion function，balance function and ability of daily life in the two groups was compared. Results The score of FMA，BBS and ADL after treatment in the two groups was higher than that before treatment，with significant difference（P＜0.05）.The score of FMA，BBS and ADL after treatment in the observation group was higher than that in the control group after treatment，with significant difference（P＜0.05）. Conclusion Acupuncture combined with routine drug treatment and rehabilitation training can significantly improve the motion function，balance function and ability of daily life of the patient with hemiplegia caused by acute apoplexy，it is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
