Abstract:Objective To observe and compare the clinical effects ofmedical abortion and induced abortion.M ethods 200 early pregnantwomen who required to terminate pregnancy due to accidental pregnancy in the gynecological clinic in our center from January 2014 to October 2015 were selected.According to the informed consent principle, they were random ly assigned to two groups, with 100 women in themedical abortion group and another 100 women in the induced abortion group.Medical abortion group was given mifepristone combined with misoprostol for medical abortion, and the induced abortion group was given vacuum aspiration for induced abortion.Complete abortion rate, incomplete abortion rate, abortion failure rate, adverse effects, amount of vaginal bleeding, bleeding time and patients′satisfaction rate after surgery were observed in two groups, and clinical effects were compared and analyzed between two groups. Results Complete abortion rate, incomplete abortion rate and failure rate in the induced abortion group was 98%,2%and 0% respectively, with 81%,17%,and 2%respectively in the medical abortion group, complete abortion rate in the induced abortion group was significantly higher than that in the medical abortion group.Number of patients with levelⅡand levelⅢpain in the induced abortion group accounted for 59%,with 32%in themedical abortion group, pain degree in the induced abortion group was more severe than that in the medical abortion group. The incidence rate of induced abortion syndrome in the induced abortion group with 8%was higher than 1%in the medical abortion group. The bleeding time in the induced abortion group was shorter than that in the medical abortion group, and the amount of bleeding in the induced abortion group was lower than that in the medical abortion group. The rate of satisfaction towards induced abortion in the induced abortion group with 75%was lower than 84%in themedical abortion group. Conclusion Medical abortion and induced abortion have their own upsides and downsides.Patients′individual conditions should be taken as basis in clinical practices, and appropriate abortionmethod should be selected.
