Im pact of different treatment factors on expression of vascular endothelial grow th factor in primary cultured human bronchial epithelial cells in-fected with respiratory virus

Abstract:Objective To explore the impact of different treatment factors on expression of vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)in primary cultured nornal human bronchial epithelial cells(NHBE)infected with respiratory syncytial virus(RSV).Methods The impact of different treatment factors on expression NHBE VEGF infected with RSV was tested by using fluorescence quantitative PCR and ELISA.Results After NHBE infected with RSV,the expression of NHBE VEGFwas significantly increased,and with obvious time dependence and concentration dependence,Dexamethasone could significantly inhibit expression of VEGF in NHBE infected with RSV,and the difference was statistically significant compared with RSV infection group (P<0.05).25 hydroxy vitamin D3alone using could stimulate that NHBE expressed VEGF,but it could inhibit that NHBE infected with RSV expressed VEGF,and the difference was statistically significant compared with RSV infection group (P<0.05).Conclusion RSV increases the expression of VEGF in bronchial epithelium,while Dexamethasone and 25 hydroxy vitamin D3can reduce this effect.
