Abstract:Objective To explore the clinical effects of Methylprednisolone and Dexamethasone in treatment of sudden deafness.M ethods 98 patientswith sudden deafness and who accepted treatments in our hospital from September 2014 to September 2015 were selected as the research objects, and were divided into A and B two groups by the random number table methods. In the A group of 49 cases were applied the Methylprednisolone while in the B group of 49 cases were given the Dexamethasone treatment. Then, the treatment effect and adverse reactions of the two groups of patients were observed. Results The total effective rate in the two groups respectively were 95.92%and 83.67%,and the differences were significant(P<0.01);before treatment, two groups had no significant difference in hearing threshold(P>0.05). Improvement after treatment, the A group of 3,7 d threshold testwas better than B group after treatment, the difference was significant(P<0.01);the incidence rare of adverse reactions in the two groups respectively were 14.29%,10.20%,the difference was no statistically significant(P>0.05),and there was no serious adverse reactions. Conclusion In the treatment of sudden deafness, the clinical effect of Methylprednisolone is better than that of Dexamethasone, and the safety is high, thus it isworthy to be promoted.
