Abstract：Objective To explore and analyze the effect of application of endoscope-assisted catheter in the treatment of bulbar urethral rupture.Methods Altogether 60 patients with bulbar urethral fracture who accepted clinical treatment from November 2013 to November 2016 in our hospital were selected as the object of this research and divided into the control group and the experiment group according to the random number table method,with 30 patients in each group. The control group was treated with open surgery,while the experiment group was treated with endoscopic-assisted catheter.The curative effect of the two groups was compared.Results There was no significant difference in the surgical success rate and urine flow rate between the experiment group and the control group(P＞0.05).The amount of bleeding in the experiment group was less than that in the control group,and the operation time and hospital stay in the experiment group was shorter than that in the control group,with significant difference(P＜0.05).The treatment total satisfaction degree of the experimental group was 96.67%,which was higher than that of the control group(73.33%),with significant difference(P＜0.05).Conclusion Application of endoscope-assisted catheter in the treatment of patients with bulbar urethral rupture delivers obviously better curative effect than open surgeries.
