Abstract:ObjectiveTo compare the clinical effect of Propafenone and Amiodarone in treatment of arrhythmia and their influence on serum hypersensitive C-reactive protein (hs-CRP).Methods96 patients with arrhythmia treated in our hospital from Decembere 2015 to December 2016 were randomly divided into Propafenone group and Amiodarone group, with 48 cases in each group.Patients in the Propafenone group were orally given Propafenone hydrochloride tablets, and those in the Amiodarone group were orally given Amiodarone hydrochloride tablets. The overall response rates and changes of serum hs-CRP level were compared.ResultsAfter treatment, the overall response rate in the Amiodarone group was 95.83%,significantly higher than the 83.33%in the Propafenone group(P<0.05).After treatment, the levels of serum hs-CRP were evidently lowered in both groups, and the hs-CRP level was significantly lower in the Amiodarone group[(7.63±2.60)mg/L]than that in the Propafenone group[(12.56±3.50)mg/L].ConclusionThe effect of Amiodarone is better than that of Propafenone in treatment of arrhythmia, and Amiodarone is more effective in lowering the level of serum hs-CRP,thus is worthy to be promoted.
