Abstract:ObjectiveTo observe the effect of Shensong Yangxin Capsule combined with low-dose Metoprolol Succinate Sustained-release Tablets on arrhythmia and inflammatory factors after percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI).MethodsFrom May 2013 to May 2016,134 patients with arrhythmia after PCI in Guangzhou Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Hospital and the Affiliated Hospital of Guangdong Medical University were divided into three groups by a random number table including Metoprolol Succinate Sustained Release Tablet group(group A;n=46;47.5 mg each time, and once per day),Shensong Yangxin Capsule group(group B;n=45;3 capsules each time and thrice per day),and Shensong Yangxin Capsule combined with low-dose Metoprolol Succinate Sustained Release Tablets(group C;n=43;3 Shensong Yangxin capsules each time and three times per day together with 23.75 mg Metoprolol Succinate Sustained release tablet, once per day). The follow-up visits were lasted for 3 months. The incidence of arrhythmia and inflammatory factor levels including high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)and interleukin-6 (IL-6)before and after therapy were compared.ResultsCompared with prior treatment, the incidence of arrhythmia and inflammatory factor levels after surgery among three groups were all lower(P<0.05).By inter-group comparisons, the incidence of arrhythmia was lowest in group C(P<0.05),and the levels of hs-CRP,TNF-α and IL-6 in group C were significantly decreased(P<0.05).ConclusionCombination of Shensong Yangxin Capsule and low-dose of Metoprolol Succinate Sustained Release Tablets can effectively reduce the incidence of arrhythmia after PCI and decrease the inflammatory response.
